RETURNS POLICY

• We offer a refund or an optional credit note within 14 days of receiving your return order. Any items posted after this time may be denied. 

• Items must be returned in their original condition including all tags still attached.

• Once MADE FOR A GODDESS has received your package, all returned items will be inspected before a refund or store credit is issued.

• Where possible all refunds will be returned to the original forms of payment, otherwise an alternative refund tender will be offered.

• Our Returns & Exchange Policy is in addition to any rights and/or guarantees you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.

*Please note that the return postage and associated shipping costs for returned items are at the full cost of the customer. Proof of recipt from Australian Post will be provided if nessecary.

For example, if an item was shipped within Australia using the Free Shipping offer, a refund or store credit will be issued for the item amount minus the full postal charges to cover the associated shipping fee.

 

**MADE FOR A GODDESS reserves the right to deny a return if the items are returned used, soiled, worn or damaged in any way or have any form of excessive hair, perfumes or scents on the fabric. Any soiled or damaged item(s) will be returned to sender at the sender's expense. You will be notified via email if your returned item(s) is not suitable for a refund or store credit.

 

***Return Shipping is at the cost of the customers and is non-refundable. 

 

We recommend returning items through traceable mail, as MADE FOR A GODDESS cannot issue a refund or store credit on items that are not received. We also recommend that customers ask for proof of postage at the time of posting returned items.

 

EXCHANGES

Due to our products frequently selling out, we cannot process an exchange for you. If you require a replacement size, colour or alternative item(s), you are required to place a new order.

 

 PRE-ORDER POLICY

Our pre-order and made-to-order garments are created with time, intention, and deep respect for the art of making. Each piece is not pulled from a shelf — it is brought to life specifically for you. When you place a pre-order, fabrics are sourced by the metre, patterns are prepared, and skilled Australian makers devote hours of careful craftsmanship to its creation. This slower, more deliberate approach allows us to honour quality, reduce waste, and ensure every piece is made with purpose rather than excess.

Because each pre-ordered garment is individually produced and made especially for its wearer, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Once your order is confirmed, production begins, and costs are incurred that cannot be reversed. As a small, independent business, this model allows us to continue creating ethically and sustainably within Australia.

We provide extensive size charts with clear measurements to support you in choosing the correct fit. For this reason, refunds or exchanges cannot be offered if a garment does not fit due to incorrect size selection. We encourage you to take time with these measurements or reach out to us before ordering — we are always happy to guide you.

This policy exists in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If your garment arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy. In these cases, we will gladly offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with your consumer rights.
